The Cub Pack

The Cub Pack is for boys and girls between 7¾-11 years.

Our Cub section meets every Wednesday evening during term time between 6.45pm and 8.45pm in the Scout Headquarters behind the Memorial Hall on Woollards Lane, Gt. Shelford.

There is a Cub Scout Promise, which all Cubs have to know by the time they are invested:

I promise that I will do my best,
to do my duty to God and to the Queen,
to help other people and to keep the Cub Scout Law

Cubs also have to know the Cub Law:

I promise that I will do my best
to do my duty to God and to The Queen,
to help other people
and to keep the Cub Scout Law.

The Scout motto is “Be Prepared

The Cub section is for young people from the age of 7¾ years of age, and has a progressive training scheme.

There are also over 40 activity badges that can be gained should the Cubs wish.

The Cubs are split into Sixes of 6 to 8 children. We have four Sixes in the Pack: Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. Each Six is led by a Sixer who is assisted by a Second.
